What is this crap that too from a site run by Google… I’ve an Orkut.com account for last three years… Just logged into my Google adwords account which is a different from my orkut account… Now when I go to orkut it asks me to create a new account with my Google adword details… Also there is no link to tell that I already have an account or to clear the session… Please look at this screenshot and let me know if I missed out anything;
Google is known for itz simplicity and usability and this really disappoints…

You being disappointed at this small issue is a great achievement by Google. They have set the standards so high that people can’t expect any mistake by Google.
Since, I am not aware of the overall email changing .. Will have to ask many questions to debug it. #1 will be whether you use the same email id for Google adwords and Orkut? (Google generally doesn’t recommend that)?

No, i use different email id’s… I cleared the cookie and it worked fine… Yep you are right, google’s reputation is soo high that we can tolerate mistakes with them :)…
If this was microsoft my mind would be set that this will be cleared after SP3 or SP4 :)…

That was the really issue, different emails and different accounts…
Google uses .google.com cookies for all their services and thats one reason they have everything hosted under subdomains …
