After finishing my under graduation from Dhanraj Baid Jain College at Thoraipakkam(OMR) 13 years back… I had make a visit to apply for a duplicate Transfer Certificate…
A lot has changed in this 13 years…
- The profile of the place… OMR is more of a village and all who where there were local villagers…
- College had a deserted look with no maintainable….
- College literally had no good infrastructure…
- Students literally lacked discipline….
but I was thrilled to see a college which has got a real make over in terms of student discipline, infrastructure and more…
One thing still remained was arrogant and tardy attitude of the admin staff… I had to slog and run pillar to post to get the degree….
Certain things were disrespectful and abuse of power… But I enjoyed being exploited and disrespected as we use to do such things as a student and I enjoyed those tasks as lived my student like for couple of minutes….
- I was asked to deposit some money in the Bank (Personal task of the admin staff)…
- I was asked to take them to tea stall and get the tea and snacks…
- I was asked to drop them for lunch and pick them…
After all this I was finally given a Duplicate copy of TC…. I really don’t want to complain rather I want to thank the admin staff for giving me an opportunity to live a dream…
