Yamuna be MINE!!!

20140209-102852.jpg

I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes.
Well love is all around me, and so the feeling grows.
It´s written on the wind, it´s everywhere I go.
So if you really love me, come on and let it show.

You know I love you, I always will.
My mind’s made up by the way that I feel,
there´s no beginning, there´ll be no end
cause on my love you can depend.

I see your face before me as I lay on my bed
I kinda get to thinking, of all the things you said.
You gave your promise to me, and I gave mine to you.

So if you really love me!!!
So if you really love me!!

come on and let it show
come on and let it show
come on and let it show

My 1000th Blog Post

20140209-104038.jpg

This is my 1000th Blog Post & Feeling emotional and happy for it…

Fourteen years back I was a student & the domain costed Rs.4000/- a year… It way beyond my budget and my mother was not sure of its use & she asked is it worth spending that much…

Those were the times of Dot-Com boom & I use to read a lot of new breed entrepreneurs… I just borrowed their attitude & told my mother that I will become a Bill Gates one day & then I didn’t want to fight to get the domain…

She was still not convinced but she gave me that money to book this domain… I’m thankful for her for sponsoring this domain…

I booked this domain with some local registrar who didn’t have an online payment gateway & I had to take Demand Draft to get buy this domain…

When i first brought this domain I never imagined it would be my mouth piece and become a part of me…

My blog helped me many ways;

  • It helped me to express myself..
  • It helped to show my point of view…
  • It improved my communication skills
  • It helped me to update my friends at one go…
  • It helped me to flush out stress & depression…
  • It got me new friends…

As time went Blogging became an Habit & started getting addicted to Blogging… This is one milestone & wish I use this space much more better, engaging & interesting for my readers…

Last but not least I’d like to THANK all my readers for the Patronage… Without your motivation & support I couldn’t have reached milestone….

The Maze of Specialisation :(

It all started with Cardiology & the subsequent mess lead to Hemorrhage & it’s time for a Neurologist

Then wanted to do a tracheostomy & then came ENT specialist…

Then a Pulmonologist to look after lung & respiratory related issues…

The for infection control came Infection Specialist

Then for any urinary related issues came Nephrologist

Finally Gastro Entologist

You will be wondering what I’m talking about… Yes these are the many specialist I’ve dealt with for my dad in last 18 months…

The irony with these (doctors) specialist is they don’t collaborate or interact… It becomes the responsibility of the patient or the attender to connect the dots…

Things were not this complex when medical world had only general practitioners… In my personal opinion micro-specialisation has made thins complex than simple…

Today I’m familiar with most of the medical terms, procedures & processes… I’m confident of passing MBBS exams which once looked tough or impossible to me :)…

Still I’m inside the maze and hope i come out successfully on a Happy Note…

Ashtamsa Sri Varada Anjaneya Temple History

Two decades ago, Rajamani Bhattar, a temple priest of Tirunelveli, brought up in Vaikanasa Agama tradition and an upasaka of the Anjaneya, was blessed by Guruji Haridos Giri Swami and he was presented with the idols of Sri Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Anjaneya and a Shadchakra Saligrama at Thennangur.

The Swami had made an apocalyptic statement that the votary would build a shrine for Anjaneya.

In the year 2004, a divine call directed him to devote his entire time and resources to construct a shrine for Anjaneya at the spot indicated in his dream, at Peelamedu in Coimbatore.

Located on a spacious plot of ground tucked a few meters away from and on theCoimbatore-Avinashi road, opposite ESSO bus stop (near Suguna Kalyanamandapam) the Ashtamsa Sri Varada Anjaneya is endued with eight special features.

Hence its uniqueness in standing apart from other temples dedicated to the Anjaniputhra.

Normally Hanuman is portrayed with His folded hands praying to Sri Ramachandra.

But, the gomukhi-structured idol of the deity here, in Peelamedu facing west and measuring eight feet is of a different kind.

And many more unique featrues of the lord Hanuman can be found in this temple.

It is official thatKevin Pieterson has been axed & his international career has come to an end :(…

KP is one of my Favourite player & he will be missed for sure…

Here is KP’s response after getting axed:

Kevin Pietersen said: “Playing cricket for my country has been an honour. Every time I pulled on the England shirt was a moment of huge pride for me and that is something that will live with me forever.

“Although I am obviously very sad the incredible journey has come to an end, I’m also hugely proud of what we, as a team, have achieved over the past nine years.

‘I feel extremely fortunate to have played at a time of great success for England cricket alongside some of the best cricketers the country has ever produced.

‘I want to thank everyone for their fantastic support and I wish the team the very best of success going forward.

‘I believe I have a great deal still to give as a cricketer. I will continue to play but deeply regret that it won’t be for England.’

Dropped my mobile :(((

Was attending a phone call while walking my way home… After finishing the call my iPhone slipped from my hand :(… Yep I’m known for my sloppy hand and a lot of times I’ve been a victim of that;

  • Dropped my Nokia 6600 a 100 times… But I always admired Nokia for their rugged mobile which
  • 2005 my Nokia communicator slipped from my hand and crashed in front of my eye…
  • 3 months back my Galexy S2 slipped from my hand and crashed
  • Today it’s the turn of my iPhone :(… Fortunately it escaped with some scratches…

From evening I’m disturbed and couldn’t bring back my mood… Still struggling to concentrating on work and working ways on how to transform. Y sloppy hands to safe hands…

Walking down the memory lane

How many samosas can a person eat?

During my college days I use to eat between 8-10 samosas… Yesterday passed through this shop where I use to eat samosas with my friends… But I stayed away from eating samosa this time :)…

How many ice-cream can a person eat?

I use to eat 15-20 scoops… I went to this joint opposite to t-nagar bus stop , which use to be the point where we have ice-creams after college and disperse for the day…

20130921-131925.jpg

These days I couldn’t eat more than one scoop… For the sake of memory I just had a single scoop of chocolate ice-cream…
