Today was one of those unexpectedly perfect days. I finally met Ajith after 13 long years. Honestly, I don’t even know how these years flew by — it felt like we were still on that Bangalore drive, debating random life topics and making a pit stop at midnight in McDonald’s Sulagiri.
Ajith took the initiative to set this up (big thanks, buddy!), and he also introduced me to TAKKT Southern Cafe & Kombucha. What a fun, happening place right in our own backyard! The kombucha? Absolutely fantastic — like a refreshing plot twist in a boring daily routine.
It felt nice to see that he has also given up a few things in life, just like I did. Maybe that’s why old friends feel special — they remind you of who you were and show parts of yourself you might have forgotten.
We covered everything today: work stories, personal struggles and joys from these 13 years, a little astrology (yes, Saturn in the 8th house still keeping life spicy), and plenty of those “just because” stories that have no start or end.
Thank you again, Ajith, for pulling me out and for the kombucha initiation. Let’s make sure we don’t wait another 13 years — next time, maybe a road trip, or even better, some divine temple trail to balance all this cosmic karma.

Next 2 days with NDOT

Revival of 1997
Day before yesterday was one of the landmark days in my life… It was the reunion of 1997 batch mates of AV Meiyappan Matriculation HR Sec School… I’d like to thank JB Vinodh for initiating the idea and Srinivasan for executing the plan…
Though there were only 10 folks who turned up it was a great while to rewind 14 years back… In fact I met most of them after 14 years… We couldn’t accept that we were all grown and thine has passed this passed…
The fact is no one has changed in character and almost everyone was spontaneous in pulling down each other… Recollecting old memories, punishments, quarrels, ex-love (infatuation), teachers etc…
We have forgot the names of almost many girls and everyone explained situations to recollect names and personalities… One good thing was no one talked about profession or success stories…
We have planned to have a big reunion during November as most of the folks living abroad are planning a visit… Hope it should be more fun and am waiting for that day…
These photos will last in my memories forever..
Reunion
Being it a weekend I slept the whole consolidating for the lost sleep during whole last week… Then got call from my school mates by 7.30 asking where am I?? Only then I realized that I was late by an hour and immediately took bath and rushed to Green Park…
Am meeting my school mates J.B.Vinod & Vijay Prakash after a gap of 15 years… It was really an emotional moment as it was really a long while… Then it was time to get nostalgic and bring back some memorable moments… Then we discussed what we were upto in between… What we are today…
Everyone had their own bitter & good experience… Everyone had a common love failure story… A common Betrayal story… And their own success story… Couldn’t believe how time ran… We were in no mood to leave in spite of bouncers pushing us out & after getting calls from parents & wives…
I could see a sense of happiness on the face of other folks & so was I :)…
