Am missing Something

For last couple of days I’m into introspection mode… I don’t know what it is; but I always feel like missing something…

It all started the day when my parents asked me to delete the pictures of me having toddy…

So findings of my introspection is; I’ve not been doing my crazy things I use to do like;

  • Travelling
  • Watching Movies
  • Itz been a while since I drank like crazy & behaved crazy
  • Since I partied

Interestingly my parents are happy these days as I’m not going out & come home at odd hours & spending money. For them all above things are irresponsible behaviours…

So henceforth I’ve decided to take a Sabbatical for a week every month & go to Bangalore or Madurai to lead a life of my wish… Then be in Chennai & lead a life as per my parents wish…

Feeling’less Days

Last two days have been very dull in terms of personal feelings or emotions are concerned…

To my surprise I didn’t feel happy or excited or angry or confused or confident… I was neither feeling high nor down… I didn’t feel love / lust for pass bying girls… I didn’t think I laughed for a second in these two days…

I can’t remember if I had been thru such a phase in life before… Is this a part or sainthood??

But one thing is for sure… I’ve not travelled in these two days either on the correct side or on the wrong side…

I take this as two days of maintenance shut-down for my machine called Brain as it was hardly used in these two days…

Temple Visit to Kerala

I woke by 3.45 AM & was the got ready by time… With the help of Hotel’s watchman we had everything ready in place at Devi Temple, Kadampuza…

I admit Kerala temple’s are the best place for worship as temples are maintained clean, devotees are disciplined & priests are not money minded… All these gives best divine experience unlike temples in Tamil Nadu…

We finished preying & were back to the hotel by 7 & we had our Breakfast, checked out & immediately drove to Thirumanthakunnu Templein Angadipuram which was an hours drive from Devi Temple…

We reached by 8.15 & we had a glimpse at the or all gods & goddesses… Then we had to wait until 10.30 AM for Mangalya Pooja…

It was well organised pooja where all girls & boys who wants to get married were asked to stand in the entrance of Ganesh Temple & after a 20 min of pooja we had to wait and collect prasadam… I asked my mom to collect the prasadam & I went to the car to take some rest…

Half an hour later my mom came with 4 prasadams (2 payasam, 1 box of white rice & 20 pieces of adhirasam)… This was enough for Lunch for four & still we had prasadams to carry back…

From there I drove back to Coimbatore by 3 o clock… Immediately we started to see some places near Coimbatore… This experience will be blogged separately….

Coimbatore & Kerela Trip

Reached Coimbatore by 6 AM in the morning & I didn’t sleep for a second in the train… On reaching my uncle’s house & after having breakfast we were discussing about the agenda for the day as our original plan was to drive to Thirumanthamkunnu Temple in Angadipuram by early morning next day…

I asked my uncle if we can go & look for some land for investment in & near Coimbatore… Site seeing was planned for evening & I went to sleep…

When I woke at 4 in the evening these was a change in Plan & we decided to start our journey the dame day as we added Devi Temple at Kadampuzha to our plan…

We started driving by 4.30 PM & we did some small shopping in Palakkad & there was some mess created here by taking wrong route… By the time we crossed Palakkad it was 8 PM & we were asked to take a different route as the original Highway was blocked for Pooram festival…

Then we reached Kadampuzha by 10.30 PM & we stayed in a hotel called K.R Residency. We had a decent room for 600 bucks. After dinner we all crashed to bed…

I was not feeling sleepy as I slept in the morning & in SUN Tv it was James Bond movie Die Another Day in Tamil & I watched the movie till 1 o clock…

After bloging the time is 1.30AM & I’ve to get up by 4AM get ready & be in the temple by 5 AM…

Am crashing now folks… Good Night!!!

Ten things to learn from Jepan

1. THE CALM
Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has been elevated.

2. THE DIGNITY
Disciplined queues for water and groceries. Not a rough word or a crude gesture.

3. THE ABILITY
The incredible architects, for instance. Buildings swayed but didn’t fall.

4. THE GRACE
People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody could get something.

5. THE ORDER
No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads. Just understanding.

6. THE SACRIFICE
Fifty workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors. How will they ever be repaid?

7. THE
TENDERNESS Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong cared for the weak.

8. THE TRAINING
The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they did just that.

9. THE MEDIA
They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly reporters. Only calm reportage.

10. THE CONSCIENCE
When the power went off in a store, people put things back on the shelves and left quietly.

Things l long to do

For long I wanted to be crazy & I had to compromise on that bulging down to criticism… Of late I’ve decided to live a life I like irrespective of criticism or encouragement I get… So these are things I longed to do;

  • Stay House Arrested for a month (Planning to do this May where I can cheat the heat)…
  • Travel a distance of 600 KM from Chennai without any money & return…
  • Sing on the streets & collect money… Just got linked with a guitarist friend who is ready to join… Need some more members in the team…
  • Watch 5 movies in a day & that too in a theatre… My max till date is 3 movies…
  • To shoot amateur movies

This list will expand & will complete half of this by the end of may…

Sleep is a Necessity Not a Luxury

I was following a disciplined routine until I was 18 where I use to sleep at 10 in the night & wake up by 6 in the morning…

This all changed when my passion to hack my newly brought Pentium100 during 1998… Buying a system was still a luxury… I use to work the whole night…

Then by 1999 I got internet connection at home & by this time my routine started to collapse… My sleeping hours started to shrink…

By 2000 I started my company and by now my working hours increased to 16 – 18 hours a day… My sleeping hours were between 2 – 3 hours a day… This is the number of hours I slept until 2009… I took pride in telling that I just slept for 2 – 3 hours a day…

But lack of sleep for almost a decade started to take its toll on my health…

For last 2 months I suffered from severe back pain because Muscle Spasm(Muscle Catch)… I was told it is mainly because of lack of sleep…

I was asked to do some stretch exercise & to sleep a lot… For last 2 weeks I’m sleeping for 8 – 10 hours a day… Now I don’t feel any pain in my back…

Today I drove to Bangalore & still feeling comfortable…

Now it is too late I realize the importance of sleep… These are some effects of sleep deprivation on me;

  • Severe indigestion
  • High Body Heat
  • Eye power increase & eye pain
  • Muscle Catch
  • Over eating

I’m struggling to bring in some discipline in my working hours & start taking care of my health as I’m not getting younger…

This is life

When I got enough confidence,
the stage was gone.

When I was sure of losing,
…I won.

When I needed people the most,
they left me.

When I learnt to dry my tears,
I found a shoulder to cry on.

Wen I mastered the skill of hating,
somebody started loving me.

Attitude Needs To Develop

  1. When Snake is alive, Snake eats Ants. When Snake is dead, Ants eat Snake. Time can turn at any time. Don’t neglect anyone in your life…
  2. Never make the same mistake twice, there are so many new ones, Try a different one each day.
  3. A good way to change someone’s attitude is to change your own. Because, the same sun that melts butter, also hardens clay! Life is as we think, so think beautifully.
  4. Life is just like a sea, we are moving without an end. Nothing stays with us, what remains is just the memories of some people who touched us as Waves.
  5. Whenever you want to know how rich you are? Never count your currency, just try to Drop a Tear and count how many hands reach out to WIPE that- that is true richness.
  6. Heart tells the eyes see less, because you see and I suffer lot. Eyes replied, feel less because you feel and I cry a lot.
  7. Never change your originality for the sake of others, because no one can play your role better than you. So be yourself, because whatever you are, YOU are the best.
  8. Baby mosquito came back after 1st time flying. His dad asked him “How do you feel?” He replied “It was wonderful, Everyone was clapping for me!”Now that’s a Positive Attitude.
