Leaping towards the Sales Target


Just realised that we are leaping towards the sales target on a Leap year day…

Though we have planned to accomplish the target way ahead and derived strategies to accomplish the target, we became complacent in between…

But it is good to see folks working as a team to accomplish the target at any cost before the end of the day…

Now we are to cover the last mile and just 2% short of our target… Wish we could accomplish this in less than an hour… Now we are;

  • Aggressively following up with customers…
  • Calling new prospects…
  • Trying to Cross Sell & Up Sell to existing customers..
  • Pushing customer on Live Chat…

If folks accomplish the target I’ve planned to offer a surprise to my CTO!!!

Sleep Deprived


Yesterday got too enthusiastic about my blog update and for this weeks sales and delivery planning… Got so obsessed that I couldn’t sleep for more than 2 hours!!

By far it was productive night where I made around 10+ blog post, planned sales & delivery strategy, did some personal finance management and finally ended everything with a 3.5KM walk in the morning..

Immediately took a shower and proceeded to office.. It is surprising that I was feeling fresh till 3PM… Just started feeling a bit drowsy and got a bit of caffeine to boost myself!!!

  

Hope I can finish this day with a high note as this is the beginning of the week!!! 

Interesting Days Ahead


Interesting part of entrepreneurship is the thrill… It is like riding a roller-coaster in life…

I’m fortunate to be a part of this rare species and the experience it gave me is phenomenal… Many times I take better decisions and offer better solutions than my parents…

The latest challenge is the collapse of the sales team and it is time to building a vibrant and energetic sales team… Also it has to be done on a war foot basis…

We have to be quick and agile in our execution… This week is going to be spent on aggressive on job training, learning quickly from failures, choice of best sales tools like VoIP connection, Group email tools, CRM and more…

Yesterday was the first day and already it has been a challenging and a busy day…

  • Had to read and scan through all emails…
  • Micro managing entire process…
  • Work very closely with the team…

So far it has satisfied… It is going to be interesting days ahead and its double bonanza for me as I’m fond of Sales…

Had meeting with Bala Murugan


It was long time since I’ve spent time with Bala… Finally it ended to be a productive and fulfilling meeting…

– I had asked him to help me on insurance refunds for my dad and to get it done..
– Discussed about PF…
– Discussed about Group MediClaim…
– Discussed about gratuity…
– About sales team building…

Then it was in-depth discussion on Sales strategy and I covered most of the places where I failed when I was handling the sales team…

We have jotted the points for a 2 week intense training program… And their one month pilot sales project…

Have the training program scheduled by 11 am today… Am rushing to office and will post a separate blog on the experience….

Progressive Week


This week has been highly satisfying for both Cogzidel Technologies & Cogzidel Consultancy Services. After two years of existence and after a lot of thinking. We have finally decided to go aggressive on Sales front.

Fortunately we got two responsible people for each company to Handle our new Sales Initiative. I’m happy because both have thirst to learn & experiment. Both of them possess great energy and mainly they are contributing ideas rather than following our orders blindly.

Right now we are preparing all necessary things like Preparing Presentation, Generating Leads, Forming Sales Team et more. Hope these folks will carry the momentum and take Cogzidel to great heights.

Now it is time for me to work with these folks and speed up the process.
