Then made some experiment with my amateur photography inside Hotel Heritage…

First tried using Flash Lights flashed behind a glass with water and used the reflection to Click the Subject Mr.Deepak;

You can notice the background lights are yellow, but the reflection on Deepak is White… Now this image will explain the making;

Next is this click at the Ayyanar Temple inside Hotel Heritage. Look at this first click;

Now I tried the same click using flash;

Just found out that a flash light can help in absorbing the power of light opposite to it and help get attention to subject.

Then it was Hackathon inspired Cogzithon session to complete writing content for Cogzidel.com. We completed writing Content to most of our Product & Landing pages… Thanks to Shiva, Sudarshan, Deepak, Ben & Swami… The fact is this my first in-person****athon session.

Then it was a heavy Buffet dinner at Hotel Heritage… Food was delicious and I eventually over ate…

Again it was a Business drive & my talk session with Sudarshan & Swami…

Over all fulfilling and a tiring day… Finally closing the day with this Blog…

Good Night Folks!!!!

Dropped my mobile :(((

Was attending a phone call while walking my way home… After finishing the call my iPhone slipped from my hand :(… Yep I’m known for my sloppy hand and a lot of times I’ve been a victim of that;

  • Dropped my Nokia 6600 a 100 times… But I always admired Nokia for their rugged mobile which
  • 2005 my Nokia communicator slipped from my hand and crashed in front of my eye…
  • 3 months back my Galexy S2 slipped from my hand and crashed
  • Today it’s the turn of my iPhone :(… Fortunately it escaped with some scratches…

From evening I’m disturbed and couldn’t bring back my mood… Still struggling to concentrating on work and working ways on how to transform. Y sloppy hands to safe hands…

SAD to know we destroyed our heritage

Just shared this picture of Thirumala Naicker Mahal in FB about its beauty and how development has screwed its beauty now…

20130921-084915.jpg

Immediately got a comment from my friend;

I read in an article that British government offered people that “whoever demolishes the statue or some building, those places belong to them.” By Hearing this, Our ancestors demolished most of them around madurai.

He even shared this link on history behind perumal maistry street… Here is a small synopsis from the article;

Then Madurai Collector John Blackburn wanted to demolish the fort walls around the Meenakshi Amman temple for the development of the city. He realised that it would cost a sizable fortune of the government to dismantle the thick walls of the fort. Besides, the channels adjoining the fort had crocodiles to prevent anyone to reach the fort by crossing the water.

“When the British rulers realised that it was not possible to demolish the fort and fill the huge channel with soil, they decided to seek public participation. To lure the public, the collector announced that people can demolish the fort wall and fill the channel to become owners of the land. People from several villages gathered and completed the work…

Feeling bad to know how Britishers enslaved us and how they used us in destroying our own heritage :(…

Walking down the memory lane

How many samosas can a person eat?

During my college days I use to eat between 8-10 samosas… Yesterday passed through this shop where I use to eat samosas with my friends… But I stayed away from eating samosa this time :)…

How many ice-cream can a person eat?

I use to eat 15-20 scoops… I went to this joint opposite to t-nagar bus stop , which use to be the point where we have ice-creams after college and disperse for the day…

20130921-131925.jpg

These days I couldn’t eat more than one scoop… For the sake of memory I just had a single scoop of chocolate ice-cream…

Cogzidel Day + Time with Better half + Meeting Friends + Commanders Meeting = Successful Madurai Trip

It was a pleasant drive to Madurai carrying Cogzidel Day gifts… Once reaching Madurai it was nice to relax at my new home, listening to the humming of peacock and watching the lust green view of western ghats :)…

Then had a nice 1 hour drive and discussion with Swami… Continued by Commanders meeting & dinner at Hotel Heritage, Kochadai… Then again back to home and had a nice four hour sleep…

Got up early the next day to receive my wife and bang she called from the entrance of my Apartment… Picked her up and went out for tea on a road side hotel… Thrilled that my wife liked something I got her :)…

Then it was time to get ready and went straight down to Hotel Fortune Pandian for Cogzidel Day… Man what a day it was and am going to carry the hangover for couple of more days… Thanks to all Cogzians for making my day… The day went till 10.30 PM with some time for meeting friends, some business discussions and some official meeting after the event…

The day Next also started early… Had to full fill an obligation to god which was long pending since my marriage… So, it was a 60 KM drive from Madurai to a temple called Thirukoshtiyur

Came back home by noon and spent some time with my wife… It was a gifted opportunity which we never got since our marriage ;)… This visit to Madurai has surpassed all my previous ones… Over all it was a Heart Filled trip which will live in my memory forever…
