Disheartening to look at the condition of our Bangalore House!!!


Came to Bangalore House along with my mother, to work on some repairs… When we entered it was disheartening to look at the condition of the house!!!

When we entered the house, it had a bad odour, there was a bunch of stray dogs in the garden and the entire house was like a dump yard!!

I was worried for two reasons;

  1. It was built by my dad and I’ve a special connect for that!!!
  2. My dad had maintained it well!!! Even when he was transferred and was not in the city, he made sure he was able to keep the house neat & clean!!

Just fixed a contractor to dig a SoakPit, Relay Slab on the terrace and do an exterior painting!!! Next is to find an agency and fix up the daily maintenance of the house!!!

World Entrepreneurship Day



My Festivuswould be World Entrepreneurship Day and I want to celebrate it 24tn February of every year… Yes that happens to be the birth date of Legendary Steve Jobs who taught the world how to dream and how to make dreams come true!!!

How all the day can be celebrated??

  • One entrepreneur all over the world can be awarded World Entrepreneur Award, something on the lines of Nobel or Oscar!!
  • There can be Startup Battlefield and Pitches, conducted for funding!!!
  • Entrepreneur Clubs can be formed, make entrepreneurs as members and raise donations from successful entrepreneur… Those funds can be used for Entrepreneurship Development, something like Rotary Club for social Service!!!
  • Day can be developed like Black Friday & Cyber Monday!!! It should be crazy deals all over the world!!

Why it has to be celebrated??

  • Entrepreneurs help build a nations economy!!
  • Entrepreneurs help in Job Creation!!!
  • Entrepreneurs bring best products and services to the end users!!
  • Entrepreneurs successful or failed add value to society!!! Successful ones become role-models and failed ones becomes mentors!!!

Let me try to start it with a small group from this year!!

Goof Ups Continues……….


  Last year went to US to incorporate a company and to open a bank account!!! To my surprise things happened in hours, it was as easy as buying a movie ticket!!

After opening the bank account, I got a temporary debit card and I was told I’d be getting a permanent card in a month!! Then I moved and forgot to check if I received a permanent debit card!!

For last 8-9 months I kept accumulating funds in my account and wanted to make a withdrawal by wire transfer!!! When we tried to make a wire transfer the last mode was card validation!!! And started realising my goof ups from here!!!

Goofup 1: We kept trying the card we had and every time validation failed!!

Goofup 2: Found there was an alternate way to validate through mobile!! Then had to disturb my friend to reactivate the number and after the number got reactivated, we found the number already on bank records was wrong!!

Goofup 3: Had no option other than to go for phone banking.. Gave a call to phone banking and got my phone number corrected..

Goofup 4: Just realised for online banking I had to validate the new phone number and only possible option was to validate thru the card!! Now again card validation failed and account got locked!!

Goofup 5: Again went for phone banking and got the account unlocked and confirmed that I was using the right card!! When I again tried to login and validate, it failed!!

Goofup 6: Again called the Phone Banking and came to know I was using a temporary card and I was sent a permanent card to my friends address which I specified during account opening!!

Goofup 7: Morning got the new card details from my friend and when I logged in I found out that it has to be activated before using!! Activation had to be done thru ATM or phone banking!!!

It was my mistake that I was not careful to validate my phone number during the time of opening the account and to follow up with my friend for the permanent card!!! These two carelessness of mine has costed unnecessary effort leak!!!

Just remembered a proverb I was taught in my kindergarten;

A stitch in time saves nine!!!

Now waiting for the banking hours as phone banking is not 24 hours!!! Hope everything will be resolved and fixed!!

Busting off the challenging start!!!


It was a messy start for the day where mistakes of the past were disrupting today’s progress!!!

After a lot of GOOFUPS and misses, got struck from all ends!!!

Now came out to chill with Bala & Ravi, have lunch and finish up with a movie.. Hope this break will relax the mind, help us think and come with a solution!!!

COMPLAINT LETTER TO THE RAILWAYS IN 1909!!

Okhil Babu`s letter to the Railway department:

Date: 02 – 07 – 1909

Divisional Railway Officer,

Sahibgunj,

Respected Sirs,

I am arrive by passenger train Ahmedpur station and my belly is too much swelling with jackfruit. I am therefore went to privy. Just I doing the nuisance that guard making whistle blow or train to go off and I am running with lotaah in one hand and dhoti in the next when I am fall over and expose all my shocking to man and female women on platform. I am got leaved at Ahmedpur station. This too much bad, if passenger go to make dung that dam guard not wait train five minutes for him. I am therefore pray your honour to make big fine on that guard for public sake. Otherwise I am making big report to papers.(ORIGINAL LETTER)

Okhil Babu wrote this letter to the Sahibganj divisional railway officer in 1909. It is on display at the Railway Museum in New Delhi. It was also reproduced under the caption Travellers ales in the Far Eastern Economic Review.

Lived the memory


It is always feels good to visit your native where your ancestors lived and belonged!! I use to visit my native Chidambaram every year, it was 1990’s which made this place more memorable!!

Those days it was dirty, smelly & people’s attire showed they were from a rural place!! These day the town has improved a lot on cleanliness & people way of dressing!! It is coming close to urban standards!!

I keep visiting relatives, dad’s friends, Nataraja temple and movies as a child!!

On completing my graduation and after getting busy with work there was no time for friends, relatives, temple and movie!!! Still I went to Chidambaram which was go & come the same day visits, which was mainly for offering Pooja for our community God!!!

This week I’ve made sure I stay and cherish my childhood life back!! Unfortunately I couldn’t visit relatives, friends & Nataraja temple.. It was a tiring drive and work as always!!!

But I went for a drive around this small town and went for a movie which I remember going almost 13 years back!!!


Then closed my day watching Aranmanai 2 at Lena Theatre!!

Finally could live a small part of my childhood!!!

Ramasamy passed B.tech and got placed in a MNC during Campus Recruitment for a CTC 4 lakhs. His Relatives and Family friends wished him success. That’s it!! Ramasamy face glowed like Petramax light and thought himself from today every day will be happy.

Madasamy beside to Ramasamy house got failed in Degree. All his relatives and family friends blamed Madasamy as everyone in Hyderabad is studying B.tech but Madasamy even failed in degree. Every one gave him suggestions like to sell Idly, Dosa…. Put Pan shop… or sell Milk… His Father was very much embarrassed. Now what to do…? Madasamy asked his mother 2 lakhs and borrowed 2 more lakhs then bought buffaloes and started Milk Business.

Ramasamy bought bike through credit card and started to office. Madasamy on TVS with Milk Cans also started to sell. Ramasamy proudly said ‘Hai’ to Madasamy. Madasamy with embarrass look said ‘Hai’ and left to their duties.

Six months passed away!!

Ramasamy cleared 20% interest over bike; still actual price 80K is pending. Madasamy cleared ₹1 lakh out of his ₹2 lakh borrowed money. Both faced each other, Ramasamy gave small smile thinking that when he will clear 80K. Madasamy also gave narrow smile by thinking about his remaining 1 lakh loan.

One year passed away!!

Ramasamy put hopes on salary hike. Suddenly due to recession company mailed this year no hike. Now half liter milk price increased to ₹14/-Rs from ₹10/-Rs. This profited Madasamy to 30% and cleared remaining 1 lakh loan amount. By now anyhow Ramasamy cleared his Bike loan and brought Personnel loan of ₹2 lakhs for 16% interest. Ramasamy bought furniture, LCD, LapTop with ₹2 that lakhs. Every One accolade Ramasamy as he brought these accessories in just 2 years of job. Now Madasamy with his Profited money brought 12 more buffaloes. His income doubled.

Again both faced each other. Ramasamy gave doubtful smile thinking about his Personnel loan. Madasamy gave heart full smile since he doesn’t have any debts.

After 2 Years Ramasamy got 10% salary hike. He then bought a Maruthi Wagan R car through Car Loan. Mean time Madasamy bought 2 acres land for his 3 dozens of buffaloes. Even Milk Prices raised to 30% again. Now Madasamy income is 200% more than Ramasamy. Madasamy owned one Auto to sell Milk. One more time both faced each other. By thinking his Loans and Interests Ramasamy unable to give whole Hearted Smile. Whereas Madasamy smiled confidently from his own Auto.

Two more years passed away!!

Ramasamy applied to ₹40 lakhs home loan and bought one apartment. Madasamy buffaloes number crossed Century. Madasamy bought 2 apartments. Ramasamy got 10 more percent salary hike. Milk price crossed ₹40/Rs per liter now. Total income of Madasamy is 500% more than the income of Ramasamy. That’s all Madasamy bought 1 Skoda and 1 Innova Car. Both faced each other. Ramasamy gave tension smile by thinking that when he will clear ₹40 lakh loan. Madasamy gave Confident smile since he own a single size Milk Factory with more than 100 buffaloes and 25 workers.

That night Ramasamy was in a deep frustration. Because after 5 years Madasamy own 4 crores of Money, monthly ₹5 lakhs of income, provided jobs to 25 workers. Ramasamy salary is ₹7 lakhs with ₹40 lakhs debt and un satisfactory job. This is the Balance Sheet.

Facts: In 2008 Milk was ₹10/- litre. Now ₹40/- litre. Gold ₹12500/- 10 grams, Now ₹30000/-. In the last 5 years salary hikes for software professionals was just 30%. All commodity prices increased to 300%. Still many people from outside think about software engineers that as they earn in lakhs…
