Nostalgic Memories

20140412-232416.jpg

Nostalgic Memories & not sure if kids these days know how we select the batting order when we play Cricket with 5-6 individuals…

We write the numbers 123456 and draw a line under each numbers…

Then we close the numbers using the bad & every individual must choose a line…

Then the bad will be removed & now every individual will know his batting order…

Banta Singh & 3 Beers

BANTA AND HIS BEER

This particular joke won an award for the best joke in a competition held in Britain.

Banta Singh walks into a bar in London, orders 3 glasses of beer and sits in the backyard of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn.

When he finishes, he comes back to the bar counter and orders 3 more.
The bartender asks him, “You know, beer goes flat after I fill it in the glass; it would taste better if you buy one at a time.”

Banta Singh replies, “Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in Dubai , the other in Canada and I’m here in London . When they left home, we promised that we’ll drink this way to remember the days when we drank together.”

The bartender admits this is a nice custom and leaves it there.

Banta Singh became a regular in the bar and would always drink the same way.. He’d order 3 Beers and drink them in turn.

One day, he came in and ordered only 2 Beers. All the other regulars notice and fall silent.

When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bar tender says, “I don’t want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my sincere condolences on your great loss.”

Banta said, “Everyone’s fine; both my brothers are alive. The only thing is. .

I have QUIT drinking!”

John Resig – Write Code Every Day Blog Rekindles my Thought Process

Just came across this thought provoking blog on Write Code Every Day…

On a daily basis we read a lot from News Portals, TechCrunch, Blogs & keep following friends feed on FB & Twitter…

Five years back I practised to make a Blog post everyday & make initiative 50 topics on Twitter for conversation. I forced myself for doing this… I struggled for 2 months but subsequently I started doing it with ease and over point Blogging & Tweeting became an addiction…

For long I’ve been looking on those lines to do something different & this Post from John Resig has given me an opportunity to start with something I was able to achieve 5 years back.

Then by associating with my friend & partner Swami I got obsessed with Mobile Photography & Photo editing. Then on book reading and sharing out thoughts. This line is really inspiring;

Inspired by the incredible work that Jennifer Dewalt completed last year, in which she taught herself programming by building 180 web sites in 180 days, I felt compelled to try a similar tactic: working on my side projects every single day.

Time to associate with Swami again & time to start something on this lines again… Swami time to setup infrastructure and time to start this initiative… Again code naming the project is responsibility…

Must thank John Resig once again and here is the Link for his blog;
