Keep getting calls from friends that their jobs are at stake because of Automation & AI. In fact a close buddy of mine called me two days back telling his job is at stake.
He said his company has moved out of Peoplesoft and unfortunately his expertise was into it. He said his competency was on the tool and he has lost his touch on coding. His purpose of call was to understand the technology trends and how he has to learn/practice coding.
For a long time Swami & me keep insisting folks who needs an IT career to code. People who get laid off are people who are;
To my knowledge not a single person who is a coder got laid off!!!
Was encountering a wired problem with my iPhone for last two days. iPhone kept dialling random numbers in the background. It’s makes 400-500 Calls a day!!!
Today went to Apple store for help and they said they haven’t encountered such a problem. Also their diagnosis said everything was perfect.
I was suspecting my just updated iOS 11. But, Found that was also not the problem.
Finally, posted in FB get some solution from friends who would have experienced same problem and it worked in minutes.
See if anyone is sharing your iCloud account? This happened to wife’s phone, as her mom was using same iCloud account. Whenever her mom calls, they used to appear on my wife’s phone.
Only then I realised, giving my old iPhone 5C to my HR team, I totally forgot to reset the password.
So, this is a problem which happens when we share iCloud in multiple phones.

Already Social Media & News channels are up with their Ante!! But I’m not going to talk about the good or bad about Yogi nor going to give my opinion on things that is going to shape India!!!
But I’m curious to know if the world is changing?? Almost every country is moving towards the Right!!!
Right Wing is becoming a global phenomenon and are the liberals missing a point here??
Though I’m not an expert in this topic, I see minority appeasement is bringing the rise of Right Wing!!

Yesterday I went to NABARD office in Madurai and realised it was a SOHO at their Madurai officers house. Also it was NEWS that all NABARD offices in smaller cities are SOHO.
I had a long discussion with NABARD representative, but there was no disturbance from family members.
My personal experience from a SOHO has been horrible and so has been the case of most of my friends.
At a time when I was convinced that SOHO is a failure, I came across a government office which has successfully pioneered SOHO.
Starting up is always fun!!! You are always left with limited resources and you keep coming up with ways to counter limitations!!!
One such situation is setting up a corporate office for Temple Town Coffee!!! Though we are fortunate enough to have the support group companies (Cogzidel Technologies Pvt & Cogzidel Consultancy Services) to bootstrap us with required resources and infrastructure, we didn’t want to bother them too much with our request.
Also we didn’t want to disturb the professional culture of those entities with would unruly startup work culture!!
Also we spend most of the time on driving in search of locations and meeting people. So, we found it unnecessary on investing for a office and was working out ways!!!
That is when my co-founder Balki, came with the recommendation of setting up a SOCO(Small Office Car Office).

Since we are not a Technology company, Balki and me decided not to invest on Gadgets. So, we got contentented with gadgets which are not being used by our friends.
I got this broken Laptop of my wife, which is damaged but with small tweaks, uninstalling unnecessary applications and downgraded version of Linux, I’m able to get a good performing system.
This is our customer support phone which was given to Balki by his aunt.
Also this is Balki’s old Laptop which he uses to work and do some weight lifting exercise ;)!!
I’m fortunate enough to get back to startup life and by comfort zone of breaking and fixing this!!
For now heading to my kitchen to explore the recipe of Karupatti Kaapi!!!
